APRICOT JACK
1 oz It's Five Apricot Brandy
1 1/2 oz It's Five Whiskey
3/4 oz Apricot Nectar
1 oz Sweet and Sour mix
Pour two shots of Whiskey into a whiskey sour glass. Add one shot of Apricot Brandy. Combine with apricot nectar and sweet and sour mix. Top with a lemon and cherry.
APRICOT KISS
2 oz It's Five Apricot Brandy
1 oz It's Five Whiskey
1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
Pour the apricot brandy, whiskey and sweet vermouth into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass. Stir gently and serve.
BILLIONAIRE
1/4 oz Triple Sec
1 1/2 oz It's Five Whiskey
1 dash Grenadine Syrup
4 oz Sweet and Sour Mix
Combine everything but the sour mix into a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Fill up with sour mix.
CASHMERE CHERRY
1 1/2 oz It's Five Whiskey
1/2 oz It's Five Cherry Brandy
1 1/2 tsp Orange Juice
1 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
Shake all ingredients and strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes. Moisten rim of glass with cherry brandy and serve.
CASHMERE SUNSET
1 1/2 oz It's Five Whiskey
1/2 oz It's Five Cherry Brandy
1/2 oz Orange Juice
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
2 dashes orange bitters
Shake all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Strain into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes, and serve.
CREME DE MOONTHE
1/2 oz White Creme De Menthe
1 1/2 oz It's Five Whiskey
1 dash lemon juice
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
CUPID SHINE
2 oz It's Five Whiskey
3/4 oz Strawberry Simple
1/2 oz Aprozel
5 dashes Chocolate bitters
Stir all ingredients. Strain into old fashioned glass with on large cube of ice. Garnish with either chocolate covered strawberry or strawberry half and shaved chocolate.
MOONTINI
2 2/3 oz It's Five Whiskey
2/3 oz Dry Vermouth
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into glass.
PEPPER SHINE
1/2 oz It's Five Whiskey
2 oz Dr. Pepper Soda
5 oz Cocoa-Cola or Diet Cola
Pour It's Five Whiskey, Dr. Pepper and Coca-Cola into a beer mug (pint glass). Fill up with ice, and serve.
SAND DANCE
1 1/2 oz It's Five Whiskey
1/2 oz It's Five Cherry Brandy
2 oz Cranberry Juice
Pour It's Five whiskey, brandy and cranberry juice into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well, and serve in a Highball Glass.
WHITE MAN
2 oz It's Five Whiskey
Vanilla Coke
Pour It's Five whiskey into a whiskey sour glass. Add 3 ice cubes, top with Vanilla Coke, and serve.
WHISKEY COOLER
2 oz It's Five Whiskey
4 oz Lemon-Lime Soda
Pour the It's Five whiskey and lemon-lime soda into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with a lemon twist, and serve.
WHISKEY COBBLER
3/4 oz Orange Curacao
2 oz It's Five Whiskey
2 wedges Pineapple
1 oz water sugar
2 tsp Oranges
2 wedges Lemon
Muddle a skinless pineapple wedge, one slice of orange and one wedge of lemon with orange curacao and water in the bottom of a bar glass. Add whiskey and ice, and shake well. Strain into a double old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with remaining fruit, and serve in Old-Fashioned Glass.
WHISKEY COLLINS
2 oz It's Five Whiskey
1 oz Cherry
1/2 juice of Lemon
1 Orange Slice
1 tsp Powdered Sugar
Soda Water
Shake It's Five whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a collins glass. Add several ice cubes, fill with carbonated water, and stir. Decorate with slices of orange, lemon, and top with the cherry. Serve with a straw.
WHISKEY SOUR
2 oz It's Five Whiskey
1 oz lime juice
1 oz lemon juice
1 tbsp sugar
Orange Slice
Maraschino Cherry
In a rocks glass combine It's Five Whiskey, lime juice, lemon juice, and sugar. Using a spoon, stir until combined and sugar is dissolved. Add ice cubes. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.

Combine ingredients in shaker, add ice and shake. Fine strain over crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig.

3/4 oz It's Five Moonshine Whiskey
3/4 oz Alvear's Amontillado Sherry
3/4 oz Dolin Blanc Vermouth
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/4 oz simple syrup
Mix all in a tin, add ice, shake for 10 seconds. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with lemon peel.
Twist the lemon peel inside a chilled cocktail glass and rub the oil inside the glass to cover. Do the same with the grapefruit peel. Discard the grapefruit peel. In a mixing glass, add the ingredients. Add ice. Stir briskly until the glass becomes ice cold. Strain into the ice-cold cocktail glass.

2 oz It's Five Moonshine Whiskey
1 oz Dry Vermouth
6 drops grapefruit bitters
1 grapefruit peel
Twist the lemon peel inside a chilled cocktail glass and rub the oil inside the glass to cover. Do the same with the grapefruit peel. Discard the grapefruit peel. In a mixing glass, add the ingredients. Add ice. Stir briskly until the glass becomes ice cold. Strain into the ice-cold cocktail glass.
ITS 5 SWIZZLE ME TIMBERS
2 oz It's Five Moonshine Whiskey
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup (2:1 ratio)
1/4 oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
4 1/4 inch cucumber wheels, 1 reserved for garnish
6-8 mint leaves, plus sprig for garnish
Small pinch of salt
In mixing tin firmly muddle cucumber wheels with small pinch of salt. Smack the mint and add it to the mixing tin along with the whiskey, lemon, sugar, and liqueur. Fill with ice and firmly shake for 20 seconds. Fine strain into crushed-ice filled collins glass filled with crushed ice. Insert your bar spoon into glass and give the drink a brief swizzle to frost the outside of the glass. Garnish with remaining cucumber wheel and mint sprig. Add a straw to prevent the avalanche of crushed ice from tumbling all over you and ruining your shirt.
ITS 5 SMOKEY MONDAY
1 1/2 oz It's Five Moonshine Whiskey
1/2 oz Laphroaig 10 year Scotch Whiskey
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
3 oz sour beer
1 Orange peel
Add all ingredients (except beer) in a mixing glass with ice and shake hard for 5 seconds. Strain into a 9 to 11 oz. chilled goblet glass and top it off with your favorite sour beer (Duchess de Bourgogne is mine) and stir to mix. Garnish with a large burnt orange peel.

3 oz It's Five Moonshine Whiskey
1 Sugar Cube
2-3 dashes Angustora Bitters

Drop sugar cube in bottom of Old Fashioned Glass. Saturate sugar cube with bitters. In Shaker muddle 1 orange slice with Moonshine Whiskey. Fill Glass with Ice and strain Whiskey into glass. Garnish with remaining orange slice and Maraschino Cherry.

1/3 oz It's Five Pear Liqueur
1 oz Dry Vermouth
4 oz Tonic Water
Shake and strain into and ice-filled highball glass. Add tonic water and serve.

Press lemon, clove, and honey in a hot Totty mug, add alcohol and 4 oz of hot water and stir. Garnish with clove studded lemon.

CASHMERE FANCY PANTS

The Cashmere Fancy Pants cocktail is a barrel aged drink that mimics a Green Vesper. 2 parts gin, 1 part vodka, a dash of absinthe, and just for fun - a little late harvest Semillon. A classic Vesper has 3 parts gin, 1 part vodka and a half part Lillet. The gin is strong, with great viscosity, just like James Bond likes it. A Green Vesper differs by adding absinthe, not only for the color but also for an even stronger mouth feel. For the Cashmere Fancy Pants, we decided to use all local products to honor our friends who work so hard to build the spirits personality of Washington State.
We start with It's 5 Gin from Cashmere,Washington. A crisp but strong gin with heady notes of botanical flowers and a touch of licorice. This gin is perfect for traditional Vesper drinkers. Next we add 100-proof wheat vodka from Project V in Woodinville, Washington. Hearty, with a clean finish, this vodka is potent and age worthy. We felt the two together in a barrel would meld together harmoniously and take some of the heat off of the higher alcohol content. Then, we added just a dash of the award winning Pacifique Absinthe from Woodinville. The absinthe brings a strong licorice flavor and depth on the back palate to the drink. To finish, we added Mark Ryan’s Fancy Pants Late Harvest Semillon from Woodinville as well. It’s an after dinner sweet wine balanced with a good amount of acidity to help round out the cocktail.
Barrel aged together, the drink is still strong (the proof is no doubt evident), but has a great amount of depth and layers. A hint of sweetness, acid, wheat, juniper, licorice, and finally a touch of smoke from the oak. It’s a little far out there and yet so close to home.

BRANDY / LIQUEUR RECIPES
BRANDY ALEXANDER
1 1/2 oz It's Five Brandy
1 oz dark creme de cacao
1 oz half-and-half
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the brandy, creme de cacao, and half and half. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the nutmeg.
CASHMERE SIDECAR
1 1/2 oz Light Rum
1/2 oz It's Five Brandy
1/2 oz Lemon or Lime Juice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, shake well and strain into a Martini glass.
DUTCH JOHN'S 5 O'CLOCK SPECIAL
1 1/2 oz It's Five Cherry Brandy
1 1/2 oz Melomel Wine
Mix together and serve in wine glass.
GRAPPA GIMLET
2 parts It's Five Gin
1 part It's Five Grappa
2 part Lime Juice
Shake and pour over ice-cubes and serve in a highball glass.
LAZY AFTERNOON
1 oz Dark Rum
1 oz Light Rum
1/2 oz It's Five Cherry Brandy
4 oz Pineapple Juice
Serve in a highball glass almost filled with crushed ice. Stir well. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a pineapple slice, and serve.
LEMON LIFT
1/2 oz It's Five Grappa
1/2 oz Limoncello
Serve chilled straight or on the rocks. Serve in a shot glass.
MAI TAI MAI
1 oz Spiced Rum
3 oz Pineapple Juice
1/4 oz It's Five Apricot Liqueur
1 1/2 oz Lemon-Lime Soda
1 tsp Grenadine
Pour the spiced rum, apricot liqueur, pineapple juice and grenadine into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Add the soda, stir gently, and serve in a highball glass
MAIDEN HEAD
3 oz It's Five Cherry Brandy
2 oz Cherry Soda
1 1/2 oz whipping cream
2 oz Cherry 7-Up
Mix chilled ingredients, top with whipped cream and a cherry in a white wine glass.
MULTI-COLORED SMURF
2 shots Vodka
2 shots It's Five Apricot Liqueur
2 shots Blueberry Schnapps
2 shots Mango Syrup
1 shot Orange Juice
Shake the orange juice, vodka, and mango syrup with ice in a shaker. Carefully layer the apricot liqueur and blueberry schnapps into highball glass. Float the pre-shaken mixture of vodka and juices on top and serve.
PEAR O'CLOCK
2 oz It's Five Pear Liqueur
8 oz Sprite
Pour It's Five Pear Liqueur into a highball glass. Add sprite as desired and serve.
PISCO SOUR
3 parts It's Five Brandy
1 1/2 parts lemon juice
1 tbsp sugar
Add all ingredients to a mixer with ice. Shake well (until ice is melted), and serve in a cocktail glass.
SNOWFLAKE
1 1/2 oz It's Five Pear Liqueur
3 oz Milk
2 oz 7-Up
Blend It's Five Pear Liqueur, Milk and Ice. Add 7-up to taste. Serve in cocktail glass.
